A Wooden Garden Bench with Historic Influence
The Sovereign Bench™ takes its influence from the historic Langdale Seat by the Mawson brothers, whose work shaped early twentieth-century British garden and landscape design.
Commissioned for the National Trust alongside our Dyffryn Bench™ and Polesden Bench™, its strong proportions, raised back panels and ball finials give the bench a distinctive architectural character.
Traditional Joinery, Made to Order
A gently curved seat, sloping backrest and shaped arms provide comfortable seating within its substantial form.
Each Sovereign Bench™ is made individually to order using traditional joinery. Dimensions can be considered specifically for the setting, in FSC-certified Oak or Iroko to weather naturally, or Accoya for a precise painted finish.
