Our bespoke lead planters combine traditional leadwork with the precision and stability of architectural joinery.
We make each planter to order in our Cotswolds workshop, forming Code 4 lead by hand around a durable Accoya™ inner structure. This approach allows us to create substantial lead planters in proportions and designs that would be difficult to achieve using lead alone.
The hand-formed lead creates the distinctive character and natural variation associated with traditional lead planters, while the concealed timber structure provides strength and stability for long-term exterior use.
The combination also gives us greater freedom over dimensions and architectural detailing, allowing each planter to respond naturally to its setting.
We make bespoke lead planters for private clients, garden designers, landscape architects and architectural projects.
Each commission is considered individually, from its proportions and planting requirements to the detailing and relationship with the surrounding property or landscape.

Each planter is made individually to order, with hand-formed Code 4 lead surrounding a durable Accoya™ inner structure. This allows us to create substantial lead planters in proportions and designs that would be difficult to achieve in lead alone.
The natural character and subtle variation of the lead gives each planter its own presence, while the concealed timber structure provides strength and stability for long-term exterior use.
Dimensions and detailing are considered specifically for the planting and setting, from private gardens and terraces to courtyards and larger landscapes.
We welcome commissions from private clients, garden designers, landscape architects and architects.
