Commissioning Oxford Planters
Every Oxford Planters commission is unique. We create each piece to order, shaping every detail around its setting, proportions and purpose. From your initial enquiry through to delivery, you’ll work directly with our team, ensuring a personal and considered experience throughout.
Rather than offering a standard price list, we prepare tailored quotations for every commission. This allows us to provide accurate guidance, thoughtful recommendations and a discreet, personal service that reflects the bespoke nature of our work.
Making an Enquiry
To begin your enquiry, simply contact us via our enquiry form or telephone us on 01608 683022.
Please let us know which product you are interested in, together with the external dimensions you require. If internal measurements are important, share these with us and we will advise on the appropriate external proportions.
Our workshop is a busy working environment and, occasionally, machinery may make it difficult for us to answer immediately. If your call cannot be answered, please contact Sarah directly on 07765188725.
A Personal Service
Every enquiry receives a personal response from Sarah, co-owner of Oxford Planters.
We work closely with private clients, landscape designers, architects and heritage organisations throughout the UK and internationally. Every enquiry receives thoughtful guidance from our team, with correspondence handled personally rather than through automated systems.
Lead Times and Planning
We provide clear guidance on lead times so you can plan your project with confidence.
Planters and obelisks are typically completed within 8–10 weeks from confirmed order. Benches, tables, garden doors and driveway gates generally require 12–14 weeks.
These timeframes are a guide for delivery within England. Where additional travel time or specific delivery arrangements are required, we will confirm this during the enquiry process.
If you are working towards a particular date, please let us know. We will always explore every opportunity to accommodate your requirements wherever possible.
Your Bespoke Proposal
Following your enquiry, we prepare a detailed proposal outlining the specification, materials and pricing for your commission.
We understand that bespoke pieces deserve careful consideration. For this reason, we never chase enquiries or apply pressure. Instead, we provide everything you need to make an informed decision and remain available whenever you are ready to proceed.
Delivery
All UK deliveries are personally overseen by Sarah, co-owner of Oxford Planters. This ensures each commission receives the same care and attention from our workshop through to placement at your property.
Many clients have assistance available for positioning larger pieces. If this is not the case, please let us know during your enquiry so we can discuss the most appropriate arrangements.
For international and overseas commissions, we provide detailed information specific to your project. Should you wish to proceed, we will arrange a tailored shipping quotation for your approval.
