The Dyffryn Bench™

A National Trust Commission

Originally commissioned by the National Trust for Dyffryn Gardens, the Dyffryn Bench™ is a distinctive wooden garden bench influenced by the work of Edwardian landscape architect Thomas Mawson.

Its curved form, substantial arms and generous proportions give the design a strong architectural presence, reflecting Mawson’s approach to garden furniture within the wider landscape.

Traditional Joinery, Made to Order

Each Dyffryn Bench™ is made individually to order using traditional joinery techniques and substantial timber sections for strength and long-term exterior use.

Dimensions and detailing are considered in relation to each setting, from formal gardens and country estates to private terraces and contemporary landscapes.

Made in your choice of FSC-certified Oak or Iroko to weather naturally, or A1 Grade Accoya™ for a specialist spray-applied painted finish.

Our benches are supported by a 15-Year Structural Guarantee, subject to our terms and conditions.
