The Campion™ is a distinctive cottage garden planter inspired by the familiar forms and craftsmanship of the traditional English garden.
Its scalloped detailing and vertical timber boards echo the rhythm of traditional picket fencing and garden gates, giving the planter a softer and more informal character than many of our architectural designs.
Handmade to order in our Cotswolds workshop, the Campion combines these traditional details with substantial construction and carefully considered proportions.
It is particularly suited to cottage gardens, country properties, terraces and courtyards where natural materials and traditional garden detailing form part of the character of the setting.
The Campion’s character comes from its individually shaped scalloped boards, substantial posts and contrasting metal straps.
Each component is carefully made and assembled by our craftsmen using traditional joinery techniques, creating a planter that combines decorative character with the strength required for long-term outdoor planting.
Available in Oak, Iroko or Accoya™, the Campion can be specified with a natural timber appearance or a painted finish to complement its surroundings.
Every Campion™ planter is individually handmade to order in our Cotswolds workshop.
Available in Oak, Iroko or Accoya™, dimensions and finishes can be specified to suit the planting, garden and surrounding architecture.

The softer detailing of the Campion makes it particularly suited to traditional gardens and country properties.
Its proportions allow it to be used for topiary, shrubs, seasonal planting and other substantial garden displays, while the picket-inspired detailing provides a natural relationship with timber gates, fencing and traditional garden structures.
Campion planters can be used individually as focal points or commissioned as matching pairs and coordinated sets for entrances, terraces and larger garden schemes.

The Campion is designed to combine its traditional appearance with practical long-term planting.
Four removable panels provide access to the root system for inspection and maintenance without unnecessarily disturbing established planting. The concealed base also allows irrigation to be incorporated discreetly where required.
The substantial 70 × 70 mm legs provide structural support while maintaining the balanced proportions of the planter.
Oak provides natural grain and traditional character, making it particularly appropriate for cottage gardens, country properties and established landscapes.
Iroko provides a durable hardwood option with a warm natural appearance that works well alongside traditional garden materials and planting.
Accoya™ offers excellent dimensional stability and is particularly suited to a high-quality painted finish. Colours can be selected to complement exterior joinery, garden gates, fencing or other architectural details.
