Commissioned by the National Trust, the Polesden Bench™ is a contemporary interpretation of an original design at Polesden Lacey, the celebrated Edwardian estate once owned by renowned society hostess Margaret Greville.

Inspired by an Edwardian Icon
Drawing on original National Trust references, Oxford Planters reinterpreted the historic Polesden Lacey bench with a modern sensibility. Its distinctive curves and proportions echo the elegance and character of the estate, while thoughtful refinements provide the comfort, strength and accessibility expected of contemporary outdoor furniture.
