At Oxford Planters, we reinterpreted the historic benches of Polesden Lacey with a modern sensibility. Every curve and contour reflects the estate’s architectural beauty and social charm. During Margaret Greville’s ownership, Polesden Lacey became a symbol of elegance, hospitality, and design excellence, qualities that directly inspired this piece. Drawing on original National Trust references, our craftsmen designed the Polesden Bench™ to capture the sophistication of its Edwardian roots while ensuring it offers the strength, comfort, and accessibility required for contemporary outdoor spaces.

You can choose from FSC-accredited oak or iroko, both naturally durable and rich in character, or Accoya, which we finish flawlessly in your chosen bespoke colour.
