A Cross-Braced Architectural Planter
The Regent™ is a strongly proportioned wooden planter, distinguished by bold diagonal cross-braced panels and a substantial timber frame.
Its symmetrical form creates a confident architectural presence beside entrances, on terraces and within formal gardens. Although traditional in character, the clean geometry allows the Regent™ to sit comfortably alongside both period and contemporary architecture.
We make each Regent™ individually to order in our Cotswolds workshop.
Defined by Cross-Braced Detailing
Diagonal timber detailing gives the Regent™ its distinctive identity.
Set within substantial corner posts and rails, the cross-braced panels create depth and shadow while retaining the strong geometry of the planter. Hand-turned finials complete the design and introduce a more traditional architectural detail.
The Regent™ has sufficient presence to stand alone. However, its symmetry becomes particularly effective when commissioned as a matching pair or repeated across a larger landscape.
Oak, Iroko or Accoya™
The Regent™ can be commissioned in Oak, Iroko or Accoya™, with the timber and finish considered in relation to its setting.
Oak and Iroko may be left to weather naturally, while Accoya™ provides the option of a painted finish in virtually any colour.
