Bespoke and made to order are often used interchangeably, yet they describe two very different approaches.

Many manufacturers offer a choice of standard sizes, finishes or configurations. We begin somewhere entirely different. Every Oxford Planters commission starts with a blank sheet of paper, allowing each piece to be designed around its setting, its purpose and the people who will enjoy it.

From the first conversation through to the final details, we work closely with homeowners, architects, landscape designers and garden designers to create pieces that are entirely individual. There are no standard templates or predefined dimensions. Every commission is shaped by thoughtful design, fine cabinet making and time-honoured joinery.

This approach allows complete freedom. Whether adapting one of our signature designs or creating something entirely original, each piece is made to order and tailored to its surroundings, resulting in outdoor furniture and architectural garden pieces that feel as though they have always belonged.

From hardwood planters, benches and tables to gates, outdoor kitchens, obelisks and one-off commissions, our work reflects the same principles of craftsmanship, proportion and longevity. Every piece is handcrafted in our Cotswolds workshop using carefully selected materials and designed to endure for generations.
